Debre Mehret Medhane Alem Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church serves the faithful of the Piedmont Triad through worship, teaching and fellowship. We are a center for spiritual growth and for the cultural heritage handed down to us.
We keep the ancient faith and liturgical tradition of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church: the Divine Liturgy (Kidase), the sacraments, the hymns of Saint Yared, and the feasts and fasts of the Church. All are welcome to come, pray and worship with us.
Divine Liturgy, prayer and the holy sacraments.
Sunday school and Bible study for all ages.
A spiritual home for families and future generations.

By God's grace our community has outgrown the space it worships in. We need a church fit for the holy sacraments, a lasting home for worship, community and the generations to come.
We have received the necessary permits and started the groundwork, but we cannot finish without your help. Every gift, large or small, goes directly toward building the church.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
